Joan Abante

CEO and co-founder of Sensory Value

Joan has a PhD in Biochemistry by the Universitat de Barcelona. He is specialist in research methods, sensory tests, and project management for product development in the food industry. He was European Director at Bestfoods Unilever and founded Sensory Value in 2000.

Jordi Pongiluppi

Jordi Pongiluppi

Technical Director and co-founder of Sensory Value

Jordi holds a degree in Chemical Engineering by the Universitat de Barcelona and has an extensive experience in quantitative research methods applied to products within the Food and Beverage industry. He was R&D Manager at Bestfoods Unilever and founded Sensory Value in 2000.

Cristina Molina

Director of Sales Spain
Cristina has a degree in Business & Management and in Research & Market Techniques by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Backed by a university training that is clearly specialized in marketing and sales, she has worked more than 10 years as an Account Executive, managing high value-added projects for major Food and Beverage brands in the Spanish market.

Eleonora Albanese

Director of Sales Italy
Eleonora has a Master’s degree in Political Science from Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociale Guido Carli (LUISS) in Rome. She began working in the field of market research in 2006 at ACNielsen (Spain) and then expanded her knowledge of ad hoc research methodologies at TNS Portugal. She joined Sensory Value in 2009 with the mission of developing the international market in Italy.

Adrià Valls

Director of Sales France and Latin America
Adrià has a degree in Law by the Universitat de Barcelona and an MBA by the IESE Business School – Universidad de Navarra. Over the course of 15 years, he has held a number of management positions in Marketing at Bestfoods Unilever in France and Spain. He was the Director of Marketing at Grupo Alimentario Argal and the General Manager of Naturhouse.
