Sensory analysis is a scientific method that detects, identifies, and quantifies the responses to stimuli as humans perceive them through the senses.  Thus, by means of sensory analysis it can be obtained an objective and quantitative organoleptic description of a product in terms of appearance, smell, shape, and flavor.
